EVENT DESCRIPTION

AIB Live in Singapore is proud to announce its 2nd show on Saturday 16 May
AIB functions as the crossroads at which India’s most widely-heard comedy Podcast, its best-selling live stand-up collective and one of its Top 30 YouTube channels meet. Comprising Tanmay Bhat, Gursimran Khamba, Rohan Joshi and Ashish Shakya, AIB are widely regarded as India’s premier comedic tour-de-force across multiple forms of media.
Their YouTube channel by the same name has over a million subscribers and nearly every video has more that thousand hits. They’ve collaborated with celebrities like Alia Bhat and Superwoman for their videos. Their videos have snarky yet comical appeal. Besides their YouTube channel, individually the AIB members have a massive online following on social media platforms like Twitter and Facebook. With a ground breaking presence online the next sane step was to venture into the live comedy scene in India. And that’s what they did.
On it’s current tour, AIB Live, AIB is planning a mad mix of sketch comedy, stand-up and music, about everything from Bollywood to the idiosyncrasies of life and India. Featuring Tanmay Bhat, Gursimran Khamba, Ashish Shakya, and Rohan Joshi, AIB Live promises to be 90 minutes of comic madness.
The show will start off with sketches that delve into different trending topics and mock the society for the eccentricities that exist. The show then moves on to Individual stand up where each of the members will do their own sets
The comedy is stand-up takes a no-holds-barred look at everything from Indian and international politics, to pop-culture, relationships and the general idiocy and idiosyncrasies of the world. It is edgy and mature in its sensibilities.
It ends with a fun comedy music segment that parodies pop culture icons and references and basically sings really funny songs with absolutely no redeeming lyrical value.
They are coming now to your city Singapore for the first time.
